Editorial Policy

This policy explains the limits of our coverage and the standards for corrections.

Research and Review

Each guide cites the tourism-office, operator or official sources behind its factual claims.

  1. 1

    Research

Use tourism offices, Blue Flag and water-quality listings, transport operators and beach operators for factual context.

  2. 2

    Attribution

Link sources beside factual claims and distinguish recommendations from sourced facts.

  3. 3

    Corrections

Correct identified errors and record substantive factual changes.

Sources

Sources should be linked beside the claims they support. A general methodology statement does not establish that an individual article was verified.

Primary sources

Tourism offices, Blue Flag and bathing-water listings, transport and beach operators

Secondary sources

Attributed reporting with specific local context

Unverified sources

Forum anecdotes and AI-generated statements are not factual evidence

Updates

There is no guaranteed review schedule. An updated date records a content edit, not a promise that every fact was rechecked.
